Above 1200 Sq/FT Yellow Yamaha themed shop

I love your garage! As a teen, I found a DT500 in need of a little care and got it running. I put a huge plastic Baja tank on it and that thing taught me how to be scared of a motorcycle many times out on the deer trails of south Texas. Even though it was old, it had more power than a 15 year...

I came across this again just a little while ago and forgot how much I loved it! He did something I wish I could have done.

    Tool Box/Cart Color Preferences

I'm kind of partial to blue! I was going to do all my other boxes too, but since everyday for the last month has been over 100 degrees, I'll wait.

    my one man repair shop

I don't hang out much here either, life gets in the way all the time. Sounds like even with issues popping up you are still moving forward. All I can say is keep plugging away and never let it get you down Also, "GF got pregnant (how does that even happen?)" Scientists are pretty sure they have...

    Citrogarage

I read this whole thread twice over the last couple of years. I pray that Luca and his family are okay. I spent a lot of time in mostly southern Italy when I was in the Navy and it remains my favorite place from that time.

    Little garage from Italy

Beautiful pictures! I haven't been to Italy in two decades, but I still go there in my thoughts so often.

Has anyone heard from Luca? I loved his story and seeing Italy in his posts brought back so many memories!

Starting garage shopping with a house thrown in

I've avoided this site because it hurts not having a garage anymore. LOL, but a sad one. It's been 4 years since we sold our house in a small north hill country town and moved into an apartment in Austin for my wife's job. We planned on maybe a year or so and then we'd get a house. Talk about...

    My swedish two car/motorcycle garage.

I really love your style! Beautiful work space. Also, I love the Volvo. I haven't driven one like that since I was a teenager. I bought it as a project and then found out it was a lot more project than a kid could handle. Traded it for a sailboat.

    22 x 24 detached garage mancave project

Re: 22 x 24 Garage - future little speed shop The same sort of rules apply in this area, however there are a couple of workarounds. There are no rules against "temporary" buildings, i.e. sheds built on skids. A lot of people buy or make a couple of these, some rather large, and use them to...

    Starting Out Young

I love what you are doing. It looks like you have a good start! I also have a love Ford trucks along with Volvo cars. Both of are tough and run forever with just a little care.

    Yes, I have a problem...

Love what you are doing and envy you your garage! I am currently a grad student after many years and work security at the state capital here in Texas as well. My wife just got her doctorate a couple of years ago and started teaching again, so we are treading water in the student loan ocean. Good...

    Working in a cave

You might be able to put in a small porthole style window like the type that comes in a camper. Don't know if they are double paned or not, but they should be light.

Legality of living in a "garage"

Does your area allow loft spaces? In some places, people live and work in the same area. I'm thinking artists and such. Maybe you could call it that?
