Quick question for the group. Are most of these set ups in climate controlled environments? Anyone successfully working in a muggy southern shop?

I know this is wookworking and all but that is a pretty 10EE in the background. I have a mixed shop of wood & metal machines as well. What do you do about fine dust on the metal machines?

So, disconnecting the brake does not work. I think it is power on open, power off closed. I did manage to melt down a HF mulitmeter testing the legs. Not sure how, but it happened.
