    Hm well if it’s in the wrong spot that would explain why I don’t see it in photos. The guy I got it from never used it, and got it from another guy in a bulk tool buy.

    hi I got ahold of a cameron micro drill 164-7, and there is a weird cord situation going on. When I look online the photos of the drill press all have normal cords but this is set-up with a resister? I have no idea what it is. It kinda looks like this part for sale on the cameron site...

    The first motor I bought is a Marathon 3/4 1/2 hp, 208 460V, 1725 rpm continuous motor but its 3 phase. At the time I did not know what 3 phase was until I started trying to wire it up. Its new and unused if anyone wants it 😂. Eventually I was told you can't run 3 phase off your house's power...

    I guess we will see, won't be an issue to swap out the motor later on. I ran it about 2hrs last night and I thought it ate up my rocks real nice. After 2hrs running the motor was about the same temperature, it did not continue to get hotter. No smoke no burning smell Here is the full set-up...

    The shaft seems to spin freely without the belt, and I loosened the belt but that did not reduce the heating of the motor. The guy I bought the motor from had not been using it, and I don't know what it was used for before. I did take my vacuum hose and try to **** out any internal debris...
