US general end lockers listed again

Good question. Two flange bolts and two rubber plugs that fit the threaded inserts were included in the hardware bag. Maybe stacking yet another small cabinet on top?

US general end lockers listed again

The new one i picked up today has 4 threaded inserts on the top. Otherwise, it's identical except for the finish on the door locking mechanism parts. I was asked which color I wanted when I paid for it. There were 6 colors listed if I remember correctly. Old on the left, new on the right.

    HF US General End Locker?

I picked mine up today. The only difference I see is that there are four nutserts on the top of the new one, the one on the right.

    HF US General End Locker?

I can't answer that question. The old 22" depth works for my purpose. I've hung one on my Snap-On boxes, going for one on each end. I think there were 6 colors on the pick tag. I just stuck with boring red. HF red is very close to Rustoleum Sunrise Red. Snap On red is more orange. FWIW.

    HF US General End Locker?

FYI: The local HF store had one on display today with the pull-it-from-the-back-room slips. The salesman said they're in the warehouse. So, I bought one and it should be in the store for pickup in a week or two, about March 1, 2022.

Best lube for toolbox drawer slides

All the roller bearing slides in the used Snap On boxes I bought in early 2018 were gummed up with grease, almost unuseable. I pulled them all out and cleaned them with diesel and they've been rolling beautifully ever since.

Has anybody ever added a sidelocker to a toolbox not intended for?

I put a HF sidelocker on my Snap-On boxes. It was easy. As long as the depth of your boxes are close to the HF sidelocker, it'll work.

Ever had a tool you just couldnt kill?

4 1/2" Milwaukee grinder. Over 30 years old. Unprotected paddle switch. My favorite for the flap disk.

11mm the most useless socket in the world?

I've used the 11mm socket, but never the 9mm. I bought a Thorsen socket set over 40 years ago. In the 80's I broke the 10mm and replaced it. But, it turns out I didn't have to. I had a spare. Only a couple months ago I discovered the socket labeled 9mm is really a 10mm socket. I had the perfect...

    Motorcycle Lifts

I was a little too late for a deal on a Handy lift several years back and settled with a HF lift. It was the one with the compressed air pump/hydraulic ram and a slightly better wheel clamp. It works fine, but hydraulic fluid leaks now when using the air pump. I added a better wheel chock and it...

    Master force side box

The webpage I read didn't mention it was compatible with the 72" cabinet. The lack of bright trim on the drawer handles bothers me more than the height difference. Options: Accept it as it is. Weld/rivet/bolt a skirt on the side box and paint to match. Maybe make it triangular to give a better...

    Craftsman torque wrenches any good?

Not good. Lock nut came loose. That was it. Not worth fixing it.

    Date code on Snap-on MV71 and FV71 ??

I bought rebuild kits on eBay that worked for the 1/4" and 3/8" drive ratchets. Google what works with each one. That worked for me.
