His name is officially Tucker, but that's a little too dry for me, so I call him Chuck. He's ~6.5y/o in these pictures. We've had him since he was 8 weeks. 95lbs, raw fed, purebred.
Frogtown? Very cool pics!
I'm going to be tackling a bit of demo in my garage for an HVAC R&R and I'm checking in on your thread for some inspiration,
Sounds like you're trying to talk yourself out of this already?
If I were faced with the same area, I'd probably plant some Eastern Hemlocks randomly to provide some wooded interest but also be low maintenance.
I haven't been lurking much of GJ lately and stopped by to check out the thread only to have missed your entire addition. I noticed a fresh garage in your latest pics and had to go back to check it all out. Very cool.
Re: Hangar Living + Garage + Shop
If you're renting as a studio, you may want to have an inverter AC unit in the upstairs portion for respite. You know GA summers can be relentless, and that's often when production happens. Also, keep fan clearance in mind when hanging lights, etc.

From the looks of it, it seems all he needed to do was remove the ballast guts from the original fixture and wire in a standard bulb socket. The bulb he chose is only 60W.

"The Moto Mecca Hidey Hole"??
That would be amazing. I'll help shovel.
This is great news. Since your first return post, there were 3 pages of welcome back comments--that's awesome. You definitely have a following here. I've been waiting to see how this place turned out too! Looking forward to it.

I've been transferring my photobucket to Imgur.com today. I don't have many pics on this forum, but those that do will have a lot of work if they want to fix their pictures. Too bad photobucket's platform isn't worth paying for.
I would suggest tackling that project right the first time. What about reusing that back door of the detached garage and framing that wall out for more wall storage?
Ironic that the can in the background says "Rethink Waste"? haha
Regarding your addition... I thought you said you were maxed out on lot coverage? Are you having to apply for a variance?
We rented a bungalow similar in size to yours before we bought our current house and the owner of the...
