The Mac tool experience. (not good)

I don't even have a Mac dealer. Haven't had one for 2 years now.

The Mac tool experience. (not good)

I got a set of sunnex universal sockets 3/8 drive and they never failed me yet.

The Mac tool experience. (not good)

I have bought Mac tools in the past but no more. Here's why: I have a breaker bar I bought from Mac about 2 years ago, and the other day it broke. My Mac guy recently went out of business due to Mac related issues (I'll leave that up to him to tell). So I called Mac tools (so called) customer...

    Snap-on or Craftsman???

Craftsman is the best bang for the buck. You'll go broke buying snapon tools. (I know) just as an example: swivel sockets 1/4 metric 6 piece craftsman average $50.00 USA lifetime warranty. Snapon swivel sockets 1/4 metric 12 set average 470.00 USA lifetime warranty.

    Let's see your toolbox.

No different than buying a car and wanting to paint it another color later. Tastes change. Sometimes people want good, better. Like I said before, it would be hard to do since it's that color through and through. On top of that, it would be a major pain to remove all my tools, stickers and shiny...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Don't get me wrong, burgundy is ok. It's just I would like to airbrush a ghost bmw logo with blue flames (maybe blue lightning like what's on it) on the back, sides and maybe one where the cornwell logo is on the front. Not to mention, all the bmw cars I own are black so....... But then again...

    Stanley Rotator Ratchet 3/8"

A sprag, or one-way freewheel clutch style ratchets (clickless) work well. However, I had a time where I was working in an oil drenched environment and with out warning or much load the sprag slipped on me. But the main advantage of this tool is the fact you can stick the head into a hole, twist...

    Stanley Rotator Ratchet 3/8"

A few weeks back I bought a stanley rotator ratchet for my "outside of work projects" and used the hell out of it over that time. I did several motor swap jobs not sure if it would last, and to my surprise it turned out to be a very sturdy tool. Being an ASE master tech and a professional...

How do you justify the cost of a high end tool box?

The craftsman pro "lift latch" latch mechanism is similar to the cornwel tool box latch system. I like this design since the drawer can be opened by lifting the inside of the any where on the handle. Unlike ******** where you have to grab one area and slide the lock mechanism over to open it...

    Dual Piston Brake pad compressor

Complicated, but far better than forcing old gunky fluid back into the brake system. Never force brake fluid back into the system, if needed, get a section of vacuum line that fits the bleeder tight and crack the bleeder open then push the piston back allowing the fluid leave via the vacuum...

How do you justify the cost of a high end tool box?

Unless you are in a big garage with several other techs and you feel the need to pad your ego or "show off" buying expensive tools and tool boxes from ********, Mac, or what ever "high end brand" plus you are making an absurd amount of money, go right on. If you are like 99% of the average joes...

    Cornwell warranty

The cornwell guy I deal with, bought my tool box through him, (from what I've seen) will warranty anything even if abused. (have very few cornwell tools myself) So I'd have to say it's the dude not the company. I will not buy ******** tools, took me 3 months to get a dead blow hammer warranted...

What is your opinion about ProSoap hand cleaner.

Being a ASE master auto tech and having worked in a glass factory for 7 years, I have come across many different hand cleaners. Here is a few I have had personal experience with: ******** sells a hand cleaner, $87.85 for 4, 1 gallon jugs. It's just permatex fast orange, found just about...
