A local store had a display model of this cutter sans the box on the clearance shelf, and it WOULD have fit in the bag. I did some quick research on my phone though and found that it's only a 13 amp cutter, and will at max, only cut 1/8" steel, so I passed. It's normally about $579 though...

Glad it worked out for you. Sears is so incredibly mismanaged it's unbelievable. I've had similar experiences with them.

I found a tiny spade laying in the middle of the road once. Not sure what a full grown man would use it for, but it suits my 5 year old son just fine.

I don't use mine all that often, so I store them all in an old, larger plastic toolbox I had. they sit under the workbench in the box.
