I love my Cornwell double flex wrenches.

I use the Majic brand hardener from TSC with my Rustoleum Industrial enamel and it finishes bright and glossy.

I keep a cut-off axle lube bottle 1/4 full of atf (+4synthetic) in my fluids cabinet, ratcheting wrenches and ratchets get an overnight soak when they start feeling a little sticky (more the wrenches than the ratchets).

I've been on a vintage kick and finding Craftsman 1971 V series quick release 1/4 & 3/8 at garage sales, they're smooth after a good cleaning and lube. I take them over my Snapons. The Cornwell ball head is nice but I don't like the way the softgrip twists on the shaft.

I use my cornwell double flex spline drive wrenches almost exclusively (brake jobs, motorcycle teardown, Engine builds, all my tractor work). They are amazingly versatile. I agree that I wouldn't use them on the other end of impact work though.

I have the Makita Lithium and run 6" legerlocks all day. They're lasting me beyond their battery life so I've got 3 impacts in the tool trailer and keep running the new set's batteries when the old ones won't take a charge (about 2 yrs on the batteries for me & my crew).

did you try looking up the craftsman part number?

I love my "floppy" ball head ratchets - I started with a 3/8" snapon that I got at a garage sale, bought the 1/4" off the truck and then when I found they didn't make a 1/2" (at the time - not sure about now) I bought the set of Cornwells 1/4 3/8 &1/2 - I LOVE them over the feel of the snapons...
