Thanks PS for all you have done for this forum... Looking at the lights listed in post #1, when is it worth going to a high bay vs. a LED retrofitted strip light? I thought I saw you mentioned strip lights are best below 12', but I've also seen you recommend them on higher ceiling projects...

Platonic, Thanks for all of the great info you have shared so far. I was wondering if you could give me an opinion on my shop. It's a 40x60x16 with a 3/12 roof. It is sheet rocked to 12' and everything is spray foamed. All walls and ceiling are bright white. I have 2 car lifts and 1 motorcycle...

Actually I take that back... the Rotary does have and adjustable pad on this one http://www.rotarylift.com/LIFTS/SPOA10-TRIO/ I'm starting to lean this way.

I like the low pad height of the Bendpack compared to the Rotary. Rotary also does not have an adjustable lift pad either.

I'm looking at that Rotary too, and haven't dismissed the comparable Bendpak either. On paper the Nussbaum is my favorite, but is pretty much out of my price range.

Motofool33, did you end up buying a Nussbaum lift? If so what are your impressions and which model/options did you buy?
