    Light Pole Repair

Thanks guys! I'm clearing room in the garage now and hope to get the pole into the building for winter. I'm thinking that a new base with flange supports is in my future, and likly abandoning the old base bolts. I'll update this thread as things progress.

Fair point. An older sign was roughly 4x4 and made out of plywood, but again that was about 12 years ago.

    Light Pole Repair

I'm hoping to get to this project in the next couple of weeks and was looking for suggestions/insight. This is an old sign pole, situated in a concrete gas island in front of the building. It has been used by each of the previous business. This past winter during a particularly rough wind storm...

    Carriage style doors

Struggled with the same thing. In the end I ended up having to put expedience ahead of asthetics and put up a couple of shhets of OSB to get through the winter. In the spring I'm going to rebuild them using ply with some 1by to make it look nice from the street and look like the others in the...

Brining a Champion RE-10 Compressor Back to Life

DenisG and WagonHo!, Thanks for the info i'm going to follow up on the links this weekend instead of mowing the lawn. Productive Procrastination. As for the "sister compressor" nope its an IR, needs an oil change and the tank has water in it but that'll be a project for next week. .

Brining a Champion RE-10 Compressor Back to Life

Nadogail, I agree. That is generally the tract I'm on now. Part of my interest and concern is that I don't know if the setup is correct as is. I'm moving forward as if it is, but if some one has some insight I'd be glad to listen in the hope that it Will help the project along.

Brining a Champion RE-10 Compressor Back to Life

Let me preface the title by saying "I hope i'm" So I've got all the makings of a shop compressor setup. A two stage Champion compressor, GE motor, and 80 gallon tank. Only problem is that I didn't gather the components and I cannot find any info on the pieces so that I can make it work together...

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

This is Liza, our 7 month old border terrier/mutt. My wife rescued her from a bad situation and she is settling in well. She will become my garage dog eventually, but first I need to be able to use the garage... time to start a build thread I guess.

    Moving old garage

Good luck! My dad moved a barn years ago. I didn't get to see it since I was in school at the time. So I'm watching eagerly to see how its done so that I can move it out of my way now :)

How to recover files from old garage computer ?

I've heard of the freezer trick working but I've also heard its a one shot deal. If it doesn't work the HD becomes unusable. Good Luck. I've got a similar issue with my home computer.
