What do you wish you had done differently when you built your shop?

I have two floor drains, but I wish I would have put in a covered trench by the doors instead. Lots of good suggestions in this thread

    Site Prep For Pole Barn

Good luck with this build. I have a pole barn for my horses in SE Wisconsin. 1. level it off, but don't "count" any fill as part of the measurement for depth of the post. 2. 4' down from the finish grade, as Bondo stated.

Heating part of shop using a tent ?

Among other things, I need to change the starter. The LT5 engine is a DOHC, so the starter is in the valley, and a lot of stuff comes off to get to it. So, while I"m in there ... :D

Heating part of shop using a tent ?

Yes, temporary. I'll see if I can really discipline myself to get out there and work. If so, I will look for a more permanent solution.

Heating part of shop using a tent ?

I'd only trust this tent outdoors on a sunny, windless day :lol_hitti

Heating part of shop using a tent ?

The tent arrived today, and we got it assembled and in place. Preliminary tests are positive  I won't have time to really work on the car for a few weeks, but I'll report back in after I do.
