I own a pump. The bucket and the rope were for the last 4 centimeters that the pump can't catch. I will install the pump in a small hole to be able to pump all the water! Gilles

The floor will stay as is it. It's a work-shop, I will grind, weld, sand, peint etc... I had a garage with tiles on the floor in the past. Very fragile and slippery. Same thing for a paint floor, looks nice but expensive, slippery and finally not practical to work on. Gilles

You did a good job fixing your cars. Very good ingenuity to own a nice car at a cheap price. It's possible to do a lot of work in a well organized small garage. Even if it seems small, a single car garage is a dream for the ones who work on there cars outside on a parking. Gilles

Generally I use my motorcycle to go to center of town. There are special outside free parkings for them. By car the best way is to park the car outside town near a metro entrance. Get a metro ticket and 15 mn later you are in center of town. There are "parking relais" specialised to do that...
