Pressure Washer Pump Protector - Anyone Use It?

I’ve rebuilt hundreds of pressure washer pumps. Do this and they will not fail unless it’s a mechanical issue: after every use, kill the ignition and pull the rip cord a few times to displace as much water as possible. Screw on the aerosol can of pump saver and depress button until remaining...

    Overspray Cleaning/Removal

High speed rotary buffer, lambswool pad and some mild cutting agent. The new paint is softer and will come off.

Dented water main line on street side

Can you use a jet sweat? I use one at work on 3/4” copper frequently and it holds back line pressure. I’ve cut copper under pressure, used the jet sweat and then added a full port valve.

Does Your Body Hurt Less with a Lift?

I lift every piece of equipment I own with my two post. Two dirt bikes (made adapters for bikes) zero turn tractor, three vehicles, side by side and trailer. Only regret was not having one years ago. I’m old and have zero problems setting the arms. The day I realize I can’t get off the floor, is...

Any concerns with finishing drywall and painting garage in a unheated garage in a colder climate

I live in Wisconsin and did it twice. Had ceiling cracks in both. Redid the second one and kept the garage at 40 degrees. No more cracks. One winter before I added the furnace, frost formed on walls and ceiling both of which were heavily insulated

    Sump Pump Check Valve

I live in a very low area and in the spring, my Sump pump runs about a 20 minute on cycle and a 4 minute off cycle. I have a battery backup pump as well, along with a high water alarm. I replace both Zoeller pumps and check valves every 5 years. I’ve never gotten more than 6 years of life out of...

    Broken bolt extractor set?

I love Grip Edge and own lots. All the other extractors I’ve tried are all tapered. They don’t grip on much surface area. The Grip Edge ones are parallel. For broken pipe *******, the tapered square drive ones work or though. Broken bolts, not so much.

What Tool Is The Bane of your existence? I'll go 1st

At my job, we use adjustable wrenches daily. We use them for unhooking LOTS of big hydraulic hoses from manifolds. There can 30-40 hoses to remove. Swapping wrenches takes too long and these are JIC fittings, so they don’t need to be crazy tight. But yeah, everyday nut and bolt stuff= NO

Does Your Body Hurt Less with a Lift?

I’ve had my two post Rotary for almost 10 years now. I use it every single weekend and sometimes during the week. Absolutely a game changer. The second your neighbors know about it, you have new best friends.

New set of Allen Keys needed

Just bought these for work at Grip Edge. Besides having the rounding prevention technology, they have a super heavy knurl on the shaft.
