The Berlyco isn't Copper or Brass? Beryllium Copper was used wherever spark proofing was required. Beryllium is expensive.
Those Taiwan sockets are not so bad. In fact Craftsman farmed out stuff to Taiwan back in the 80s
I have new open end wrenches from Penny's and Wards. SK made Penny's tools mostly. Wards did the same thing, they had tools made all over the US, great quality. Some of the best ratchet sets in this collection are made in Taiwan BENCHTOP. Japan also made decent tools in the late 70s.
Found a bunch of 80s JC PENNY ignition sets like this are all marked SK. The top 2 photos have no maker Mark's. I believe only SK and Penncraft made tools for Penny's in the early 80s
