Does the MSZ/MXZ model shut down completely when the desired temp is reached or does this model just continue to run until you manually turn it off? I know you can set it on a timer but I guess my question is can I leave it on like a traditional hvac system or not? I don't want it to run...

Do the mini split. I just put in a mitsubishi mr. slim. Its ductless so you wont have to mess up the walls. Its very quiet as well. Very happy with the purchase.

Are there any issues with doing this? There is the possibility of rain overnight and I'm having the first coat put down today. I figured it would help in case the humidity gets high in the garage. I can leave the door to my mud room to the garage open and run it from there.
