    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I consider myself a Milwaukee addict, I have a ton of there stuff and for the most part love it. But I recently purchased a couple of their new m12 angle die grinders, and a m12 straight die grinder and are very dissatisfied with them. No power, they shutoff all the time. I have pretty much...

    My Gray BF-100 rebuild

The decals were purchased right from GRAY Mfg. in St Joseph MO. Just give them your serial # (stamped in the top) and they can get you anything. this was an old jack, and they had everything I needed.

    New bench

Well, after a couple years of thinking and talking about it, I finally got around to building my dream bench. Two Snap On classics later here you go. ( plus a nice Snap On vise I picked up on an auction for cheap).

Is this typical service from Fastenal?

They ****, never have anything in stock , and most of their counter guys are arrogant pricks. I honestly don't understand how they stay in business. We have a locally owned company that services our business and is awesome.

Been using a laptop on top of my tool box. I am going to build a bench with two snap-on Classic 78's built in. Any body got any good ideas for storing a laptop and a scanner printer? Pictures? I was thinking some kind of pull out for the scanner/ printer, but not sure about the laptop. Sho your...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Nice! I wish my lathe looked like that! Clean. Is that a enco lathe? What kind of chuck? I have one that looks the same as that ( mine is an Enco) and it needs a new chuck. Been thinking of putting a 6 jaw on mine. Been struggling with trying to get the runout out of mine.

Wood/metal bandsaw vs. one of each?

For wood find and old Oliver. For metal I have an old Grob ns 18 vertical, works good. I put Carter guides on it. It has a blade welder on it too, so I can make and repair my own blades. As far as horizontal, the Ellis 1600 or 1800 are the way to go. You can cut angles way better. I started out...
