There were actually three springs in each of my posts. According to the installer, it was a European regulatory requirement and that it supposedly works better with just one spring in each post.

I just had my HD-9 installed yesterday and my installer removed two springs from each post for the Slack Safety. He indicated that it was a Euro spec and that it actually works better with just one spring in each post. Is this what everyone is referring to? I want to make sure the slack...
