I have a 15-year-old Devilbiss JGA conventional suction-feed paint gun in good condition. I'm wondering if it might be possible to turn it into an HVLP gun by swapping out some internal parts. Anyone got a clue?

The cylinder base has "Made in USA" cast into it. It hard to say if the handle was two-piece originally. Looks like it was welded together in the middle. It does have the correct annular groove at the bottom end. Maybe it was damaged and repaired at some point.

Took a closer look at the jack this morning. I agree, it looks like a Blackhawk, possibly via Sears. The sides are 7-1/8" apart. On the base of the cylinder it has cast-in A855005. On the handle holder it has A677.133. The ram diameter is 1-1/2". Does that mean it is an SJ1 or SJ2? I'm...
