That's what I meant. Easier to fix into plastered blockwork than plasterboard and batton if you don't like the look of painted blockwork. I might steal the layout of those units when I finally get round to building myself a new garage! This forum is great for stealing other peoples ideas :thumbup:

I'm with magnusk750. The walls are already cavity walls because there is a flat above. It might be cheaper to get the walls plastered? It'll also be easier to fix the units etc to a plastered wall because you can use stronger fixings.
