    I hate mices

I don't give 2 snaps about a mouse life. Squirrels neither.

    I hate mices

I have mice in my attic, and war is on, but I found a nest in the insulation they made with a snakeskin... Any tips on getting rid of them, let me know. I have killed several with poison baits and traps, but now they are ignoring them. Next will be some sticky strips I guess. They navigate...

Must haves you did not know you needed

They are. Mine are well used. I can still dig dirt, scoop from piles of dirt, great for scooping mulch without digging into dirt below. I even use them to wedge small trees out of the ground that I don't want.

Must haves you did not know you needed

Didn't even know there was such a thing. Could be a good thing to have. Provide links if easy enough. I have had to look both these up. LOL

Must haves you did not know you needed

Interesting. Made me look it up. Haha I don't have a need, but I can see that being beneficial if needed.

Must haves you did not know you needed

I missed an opportunity to pick one up slightly used at about a third of the cost new. Would love to have one. I have a poor mans backhoe, a stump bucket. Haha

Must haves you did not know you needed

Was not sure where to put this, but feel this is the best. I have a few things I use regularly, that are not or were not well known, or considered by me till I happened across them. I will start with 2 that could be beneficial to some. Now, mine are not necessarily tools, but they kind of...

    Heat pumps and cold weather

What sq ft is the space being heated? Do you see the emergency heat, or aux heat symbol come on, on the Tstat? It may not be coming on. When it gets that cold, it is needed to maintain warm air. I am NC, and we have had those temps this winter. My HP is a 3 ton heating 2k sq ft. I have a...

Tearing apart and refinishing 3 car garage. Input needed - drywall or OSB?

The only thing that I would not like with a ribbed ceiling is if the ribs **** up against a fixture, and then the finishing along the walls. I wonder if you could have the existing ceiling finished, would save some $. I did tongue and groove pine in my building, stained and installed myself...

Tearing apart and refinishing 3 car garage. Input needed - drywall or OSB?

The only thing with layering is how you trim out the door/window casings where they contact. That is my issue if I cover my side wall in pine like the corner.

Tearing apart and refinishing 3 car garage. Input needed - drywall or OSB?

Repairing is not bad, but the main reason I put the prefinished on the lower walls is for the banging and scuffing the big trash cans cause. Fam isn't as concerned as I am since they don't have to fix it either, so stuff just "happens". And, it looks nice with less paint! The panels are easy...

Tearing apart and refinishing 3 car garage. Input needed - drywall or OSB?

I no longer have to do heavy lifting in my attached garage, but you can do a mix, and protect the areas we are more likely to damage, which is what I did. After I built my shop, I uswd somw of the rough cut 1x12 pine to make a shelf area to store my automotive stuff so I did not have to worry...

    DIY / Magiver projects

Cool, but this doesn't have to be just about pvc. 😉 I have some corner pieces of metal from my building left and one ended up being a nice little shelf for small boxes of nails I have, just had to slide it in between the pine boards on the wall. Temp use for now, but it works!
