My name is Tom, and I live in two states.
Currently we live in Carthage, Missouri and are building our home and shop near Mound City, Kansas. Yet, even after it's built, we will continue to live with one foot 'over the line' in Missouri.
I have lived in many states, and settled on Missouri 26 years ago, while occupied as an over-the-road driver. I am a copywriter, for the last 10 years and have rarely hired anyone to do my construction or repairs; I pretty much did it all myself. Trouble is, as I've been getting older, I find myself hiring a few things done, but it still bugs me to do so.
We have a few lots in a private recreational community, with a few lakes to make fishing easier, and are building a large shop with a small home, and that's what brings me here.
I love associating myself with people who know what I'm doing better than I do, so I'm not above taking advice. I also am old enough to be a little stubborn, but not so much to lose friends over small things.
Above all else, I am a bivocational Pastor, and have a heart for helping people. My prayer is that we can help each other.
