    Hellfire Review

Same here. Machine troweled and acid etched. I’m doing my 715 sq ft 3 car today and the first coat took only 1.5 gal and the 750 sq ft kit came with 8 gal of Hellfire and 2 gal of clear. I don’t know what I’m going to do with so much extra, even if I do 3 coats that will only use half the kit at...

Show us a hand tool that is unique to your profession!

So I finally got around to taking a few pictures of some of my more unique tools. Im in the Navy and I work on major caliber gun systems, specifically the 5"/54. Spanner wrench, thats a 36" Starrett vernier for scale. Some hand tools left to right: crowfoot for moving elevation couplers...

    J H Williams........Is it any good?

They are good, rugged tools in my experience. Make sure they are US Made. Sounds like you travel to job sites a lot? I would pick whatever has the best warranty support in your area. It would be a PITA to have to mail something off for warranty vice stopping by an industrial supplier.

    Grease or oil for ratchet?

I like Break Free LP, not CLP but LP. I usually have large quantities of it laying around so I just use that and it works great on Cman Premiums and Wright ratchets too.

New Armstrong Economy line of tools.

HJE has ratchets like that marked KD USA for like $16.

    Ratcheting Wrench Failure test

Pointless propaganda. Thats what torque wrenches and their polar opposites, breaker bars are for. Reeks of similarity to Amsoil's 4 ball wear test, a completely useless method for testing an engine oil.

    bottoming tap sets?

Yep, MSC, Grainger, or Fastenal should all sell them. I use them fairly frequently to fix threads on gun mount foundations. I would just buy as needed rather than trying to jury rig a normal tap.

    dewalt 20v max

I have the drill/driver set and while it has been great so far I would have been better off waiting for the complete Fuel line from Milwaukee just for the line up of tools in the M18 line vs 20V Max line.
