I painted a bunch of cabinet doors with a used turbine hvlp setup. Worked great spraying a latex enamel without thinning. I also invested in a spray tent. The tent was great for a minimal investment of like $60.
Keep in mind both a gravity feed gun using an air compressor and a turbine fed gun...
I had the same problem and fixed it a couple of weeks ago by changing the switch.
Mine was the 7-1/4 fuel.

The surge is much quieter. Hd has the bare surge and a 2.5 battery for $150. Well worth it in my opinion. I sold all my impact drivers and only have m12 and m18 surges now. If you are new to Milwaukee ask your friends for a m12 charger. They probably have one to give you. I have 3-4 I’d give...
