Thanks for commenting. It sounds like it's exactly what I'm hoping for. It's pretty cool having a piece of Chicago history complementing my workshop.

First post on the GJ. Just got this Wilton on eBay; I have been looking at them for a month or so. ...finally gave in. Mine has "Wilton Tool Corp Chicago" on one side, and "Wilton Vise No 3 Patent Pending Made in USA" on the other side. There is no date stamp, and no other raised letters...
