I couldn't pass that deal up either. I been wanting the Snap On sets, but wasn't ready to pay. I ordered both sets also. Got the metric set, waiting for the standard. I do have to say they are some really nice looking wrenches!

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I been having a Snap On CT8850 and haven't been satisfied. I just acquired M18 2763-20 and a battery XC5.0. I'm really impressed with the Milwaukee. One battery will not cut it for me. So my question is, will a different Amp Hour rated battery affect torque output?

Confession time. Who uses a scewdriver to pry sockets off their Snap-ON ratchet?

I only have trouble with my 3/8s and 1/2 dual80s without qr. It's annoying. I've tried oil on the detent, no luck. Like said it's worse when hands are greasy.

    Bearing Packer

I have always done them by hand. I just bought option 2 and I really like it. If I can help it and the bearings aren't to large, no more by hand!

Laser receiver for harbor freight rotary construction laser?

We do land form work. We have a mix of transmitters and a mix of machine control receivers and handheld receivers. We have no problem with them operating correct together . We constantly check ourselves with known bench marks. Using transit and or GPS. The only real problem we have is...

    Gasoline Compressor

We have Ir , champion and John deere. My favorite out the three are the Deere compressors. They are very strong and reliable. We have the 17 cfm 8 gallon compressors. They hold the preassure better for blowing equipment off , then our big gas powered 80 gallon compressor in our service trailer...

    Wrench or Battery Plier?

I always use a socket or wrench if not rounded. But some times the battery stuff gets so rusted to where the nut becomes smaller and rounded that the battery pliers are about the only tool for the job. They also come in handy for things other than battery work.

    Buying snap-on

I would also go for saying the gun may be defective. I have the mg725, and abuse it on construction and ag equipment . It's rare it can't do the job, if it can't do it then my 3/8 gun really wont. I've used multiple brands and I like the snap on. I also believe their are better buys if you...

I've been wanting a set of 1/4" impact universal sockets. I didn't want to pay high truck price but I wanted something easy to warranty . I was able to get the Napa brand standard and metric. For the same price as Grey or Sunex. Also my local store is very helpful.

    Let's see your toolbox.

The next best upgrade would be a service bed, but unfortunately that isn't going to happen so I have to make do with this. You should see the cab of the truck. Barely room for me. I can't go bigger because I need to have room to put chemical drums .

Thanks. So far it's been working pretty good. I'd love to get a real tool chest setup but it wouldn't get used. 90% of my work is in the field. Not having a real service truck makes it hard to keep things organized and easily accessible. My side boxes I have to get everything out just to get one...

    Let's see your toolbox.

I did a little rearranging and got some pictures of the big drawers. The Homak box is where I keep most of my most used hand tools. I mounted my old snapon to the side and have my pry bars , large pliers ,filter wrenches , drill bits , taps and dies and etc. I have two side boxes for my large...
