My one car workshop, "The Rental"

So this weekend was another large step forward in the "get **** off the floor in my too small a shop crusade". You can kind of see my old attic access in the right of this pic. Its the old school "break your back while leaning backwards off the ladder pushing what you want ahead of you through...

My one car workshop, "The Rental"

Got the cabinet painted up and added a power strip to the side for easy access since the plug is centered behind the box. I will be tidying up the wires and such this weekend.

    Folding tailgate work bench

Thanks for the props fellas. No real expeditioning (is that a word?) for me unless you count the fact that to get anywhere nice from Houston takes what seems like a lifetime to get too.

Thanks guys. The next thing I will be making for it is a unibit holder that will also hold my chuck keys. It will get mounted to the 1x4 just below my drill press. Also I did a write up on the tailgate bench since I've had a few people ask how I did it...

    Folding tailgate work bench

This thing has been a hit in my build thread and I've had several people ask how I put it together. I found some old pics of it when I first built it so I figured I'd post up. Here it is after painting it The construction for this particular tailgate was somewhat K.I.S.S. I no longer had the...

My one car workshop, "The Rental"

Finished up my consumables storage last night. Cleaned up the flat bar for the tensioner and installed some 3/8 rod for grinding discs. This weekend I will be filling in cracks/sanding the surface of the cabinet and start painting it.

My one car workshop, "The Rental"

For the past 6 months I've had belt sander belts just sitting on the shelf with all the other clutter. Friday I moved them to the new cabinet I built but with all the other tools in there I did not want to risk them getting crushed and have to toss them because of that. So i figured I'd make...

Plastic material used for making sheaths and holsters and such. I started making knife sheaths a little over a year ago. Heat the plastic up and form it around the object. Then place rivets (eyelets) where needed and shape. Almost all the work I do in the garage is either related to my Yota...

My one car workshop, "The Rental"

Well I finally got around to building a cabinet for power tool storage/a work station for my Kydex tooling. It started life as a shipping crate that my buddy gets from work. Rough dimensions were 65"H x 36"D x 33"W. All made out of 1x4s and 1/2" plywood. I took it apart and cut it down to...
