    Milwaukee M12 and sheet metal?

Been reading lots of great things about the M12 tools, but has anyone used the drill or driver for attaching R panels to the walls or roof of a building? I'm talking about using a 5/16 self tapping screw through the sheet metal and into a standard purlin. Does it run a few holes and die? Or...

    Looking to buy a generator!

Run a search for the Champion 3500 watt model. There was a whole section on it at rv.net . Usually around $300 at Tractor Supply. Not the quietest, but decent for the money.

    tool truck prices

Why go to a restaurant when you can cook at home? Same deal with the truck or your local brick and mortar stores.

How do you guys organize your sockets?

What do the guys who work out in the field use? I have mine on rails in a soft bag in the truck, but they keep coming off the rails. I'm afraid I'm going to have to get a hard box just to keep the sockets organized.

What's best way to make a stable AND mobile workbench

I build some rolling welding tables on cast iron casters. I wanted to mount a 2" receiver hitch on the wall or a post with the tube on the bench. I got divorced and put all that stuff into storage before I could work it out. But I used those tables for working on all kinds of stuff, not just...

Why does it take so much?

My grandfather had one mounted on the front of a John Deere 60 with a wide belt that ran off the flywheel. Yep, that's how things used to be done every day.

    Kobalt/Lowes Disappoint

I dunno if anyone caught this on sale for $13, but it's a disappointment. Normally a $30 set. I thought this would be a decent cheap stubby set since I don't have any stubby tools. I paid $6 for shipping and it arrives in a flimsy envelop with a hole in it and parts missing, including the...

    Help! Air Hose Reel

We always seem to wear out the actual brass swivel part no matter the brand, then we started replacing them with stainless steel swivels. http://www.superswivels.com/

hard scale in the toilet - can't remove it....

I'm a bachelor and let mine get out of hand. I bought CLR in the yellow bottle (for toilets I think). Multiple applications and a regular toilet scrub brush, but it did come out. I was about to borrow some phosphoric acid from work if that didn't work. :D

    Acetylene torch bad practice?

If you're just heating/cutting the parts you're going to scrap, go for it. If you're heating something that stays on the car, then no.

Talk to me about VDE/Insulated tools

I don't think I've ever seen anyone use that much PPE, including the guys from the power company who restrung the lines to my house when one of the connectors failed, nor when they replaced our commercial meter last year and had to retie the main lines. I did walk around today to see what kind...
