I built a skid for it out of some 2x12 and blocking to hold a moving strap lengthwise, and holds for rathet straps. Stood the piano up on its flat side, strapped it to the board.
2 man shoulder strap lifted it onto a moving dolley.
Didn't crate the whole thing up but you could bolt 2x4 sides...
Oh this a good one. I think Doozer up there may have me beat for amount of machines.
Moved 1 year ago today from MI to NY, did all the loading and hauling myself. It was 10x more work than I planned for.
1 acre home, 3 car garage and 32x32 packed into these pics plus the biggest uhaul truck I...
All i read is the title and yes. Its worth it.
Im in central NY, n the summer interior temp doesnt go above 72F. and its far far less humind inside there than outside on the muggy days.
There is an uninsulated enclosed lean to to one side. Walking through the mandoor passthru feels liek stepping...
True. 80g hp only set at 140f with mixing valve? Im just not keen on having a 4.5kw additional load with the hybrid unit.
Largest water useage is from 8-11pm i could have it at 120 through the evening and bump to 140 for the anticipated useage?
For the plug in units,
$2000 for 50g,
2400 for 65
2770 for 80.
Wondering if its better to get the 50g, save 700 over the 80, get an extra 700 back from electric company, and use that towards a 130k rinnai?
Thanks for the feedback about the hp only wh! Sounds like 80gal plug in will my immediate setup and will also add a small lpg tankless but really the intent is for the odd high demand or large consecutive drawdowns rather than mechanical failure redundancy.
^Thanks. Right now its looking like a 120V 80gal HP, I do get 700$ back from my utility company defacto if i purchase from lowes or home depot. , IRS tax incentives I am not counting on, anything over $0 would be a bonus.
So I am looking at the Rheem Performance Platinum ProTerra 80 Gal...
Right, that first statement is too ambiguous.
Its like saying dont drive a car because my buddy crashed his.
That would be great for my garage in the summer...probably give up any savings from that during the winter here where the garage will get down to 35 or so.
But the basement never gets...
I need to do some more research on actual $ useage of a HPHW. I have been looking at say the 65 or 80 gallon 120v plug in HP units.
I see this as - heat pump only with larger tank
or HP with electric backup elements in a smaller tank.
With propane being about 50% more expensive than NG (about...
Not silly. I have gotten ridiculous stuff for crazy cheap. Right time right place etc. Ill keep my peepers peeled. I know it will take a very very long time to pay the difference between 300$ marketplace deal tank unit vs latest gen max efficiency tankless. I think I am trying to sell myself on...
Hi all, this is actually for my home but the DIY nature of this forum leads me to posting here. I will be doing the work myself. Hopeflly I can buy the new units myself (being a non licensed user).
My current dilemna is such. CNY location, family of 5 (3 young kids). bought this house exactly 1...
Thank you so much for all the insight. I think we may have found the property we want, its an hour south of the adironacks actually, but on a steep hill face none the less on near 20 acres. The owners have long ago flattened a good chunk for the current home and parking build, but I will...
