What's the best and least expensive 3/4" impact wrench?

I got all the bolts off, and the bonus points were that I broke the bead with the backhoe, and got the broken stem off. Success! But it was an all out one hour marathon of wrenching to get them loose.

What's the best and least expensive 3/4" impact wrench?

I got it. Combination of air flow, psi. I put a tank at the end of the line. And waited until the compressor (which is actually a crane's air brake system) hit 125 psi. I got three of five so far. It's time for a real air compressor. That Earthquake does look like a deal. Thanks y'all.

What's the best and least expensive 3/4" impact wrench?

Hey, I wonder if my problem is that I'm using 120 psi.

What's the best and least expensive 3/4" impact wrench?

Wow. I didn't expect response so fast. I'm open to anything, as long as it's 3/4" and around 1000 ft-lbs. It's one of those things that I use once every three years. So the IR261 is kind of out of my price range. I'm doing some forest work, and finally ripped a valve stem off. So I'm...

What's the best and least expensive 3/4" impact wrench?

I just went to pull off the wheel on a tractor, and my old 3/4" inch impact won't touch them. I think it was garbage to begin with, and only went up to 600 lb-ft. I was looking at these two. (The Neiko is probably some Chinese thing, and doesn't have a company presence on the net. )...

    My 19 X 19 wood-metal-car shop redo

I have memories of working in dirt. Once upon a time I had no garage. And my backhoe differential blew. I spent one month working on that thing in the mud. Twice.

    My 19 X 19 wood-metal-car shop redo

It looks like a tight fit, but with the lift you've got it made. Having just finished crawling around under mine to do the engine mounts, a lift sure would be a nice addition. Cheers! edit- my 928, that is. :)

    Mendocino shop coming to life

I don't fully know. It's a long story, discussion. I moved out of Silicon Valley, when it became undesirable to me. I bought a cabin in the woods. I'll always remember the first time I sat down on this area of the property that overlooks the Santa Cruz mountains. I must have been in a trance for...

    Mendocino shop coming to life

I really appreciate the replies. Thanks! I wasn't sure if this building would be an eyesore or not. And hearing the comments confirms that it did indeed work. I even fought off an architect on this. The whole thing has given me a lot more confidence. As it stands, the house is on hold. In...

    Mendocino shop coming to life

Well, there isn't anything very interesting to report. But it has been really exciting and educating for me on this end. The bathroom is more like a little house than what I had anticipated. And I've learned electrical, plumbing, drywall, and hydronics. I only did the drywall, myself. But I got...

Three years of storage, and finally the machines have a home.

    Mendocino shop coming to life

The crane is four wheel drive. It's pretty cool. I'm just an unassuming guy trying to find a place of beauty. The story isn't as glorious as it might seem. Or maybe it is, depending upon the perspective. I've just gone from property to property in an attempt to find silence and beauty. On one...

    Mendocino shop coming to life

I do have a lot of work left. There are small retaining walls that will keep the dirt off the siding. And aprons along the front. The machines went in today. I'll post some of the inside when I get a chance.

    Mendocino shop coming to life

I modeled a number of shops in solid in Autocad. But I had troubles trying to figure out how to build a residence using a steel building system. Then I found out about an architect who had built a winery with the columns exterior to the building. With the columns outside, it frees up the inside...

    Mendocino shop coming to life

The house is the same siding and roof panels. It's going to be a real chore dealing with details in steel. I'm still finalizing the last bits of engineering. This is an old set of drawings. But it's not too far from what should be the finished result.
