I am no expert but I think there are other problems with the floor. I would hold off on your epoxy flooring installation to see what a contractor thinks. I wouldn't want to waste my money on a new floor only to have it crack even more.
Wow very cool and nicely done! I love the details of the pictures of everything. I have been wanting to do something like this in my garage. I will definitely track down that lifting equipment company too!
I have seen a few pictures of people doing a concrete stain. I thought about staining or doing some sort of concrete coating my back concrete patio. Will the stains hold up to the snow and rain? Or will have to redo it every year or two?
Thanks for the helpful tips. I am planning to install my own epoxy flooring this coming weekend in my garage. I definitely will need more help to do it, it sounds like. I thought it would be just like painting.
I hadn't heard much before about the Primer Coat before. I just bought a house that came with a 3-car garage and the floors are pretty beat up. Definitely will remember to bring it up when I talk to a contractor about a new epoxy flooring installation.
Do they just do industrial flooring or do they do residential floors too? It looks very nice and definitely something that I would like to have! Very cool!
