    Ego mower problem

If the fuse you got has a plug then you simply unplug the old one and plug in the new one. If you bought just an aftermarket fuse (cheaper) then you have to desolder and resolder it. FWIW they make a lot of different models and you have to make sure you are using the correct model number and...

How important is rise height on a 2-post lift?

I'll chime in for my two cents. The clearance is going to be different between a low car and a tall truck. A low car you will not be able to use spacers so the lifted height will be whatever they list for the top of the arm. A truck or taller vehicle you add the spacers to get the pads closer to...

    Ego mower problem

Typically it its soldered to a separate skinny board that has two red wires. But I doubt thats your problem since the blade works. Its probably going to be the SP drive motor or controller board.

On a Windows computer the CTRL/ALT/Delete function to force it to reboot was known as the 3 finger salute. Google is your friend... sort of...

Backyard Buddy failure, how to proceed?

I would probably do the above^^^ option with the car on the lift, but I am cheap. If not that then the rollback would be the best option.

Inverter heat pump Central ducted systems

Just curious why the "pump and dump" (I'm guessing open loop well?) ****?

Inverter heat pump Central ducted systems

Question.. Do the inverter outdoor condenser units use a open contactor like a typical unit? I am guessing since its all variable speed that it has some type of SCR switch with no open contacts? The only reason I ask is that one possible location is near a couple of 100# propane cylinders that...

Inverter heat pump Central ducted systems

Our house was built in 1981 with an open loop WSHP. I bought the house in 1998 and replaced the WSHP about 3 years later. I only replaced it because it was 20yo at that point and my friend was able to get me a new Trane unit at a incredibly reduced price. So its been chugging along for about 25...

Inverter heat pump Central ducted systems

Must be the efficiency difference? I have found that a number of 4 ton units use a single condenser and then some have a double stacked unit.

Inverter heat pump Central ducted systems

I do have a pool and did have this idea and went down the rabbit hole years ago. When I built the pool I had an extra loop installed to make it easy to tap into. Had even found a company that had a small cooling tower and another company with a SS heat exchanger that could handle the salt water...

Inverter heat pump Central ducted systems

That goes without saying.... But there are a lot more components and maintenance needed than a conventional air to air system. They are not able to do any of that on there own, so it became costly.

There will be something, just how robust is the unkown.

Not sure where you are located. We have friends in N. Georgia that built a huge house that had two closed loop GEO systems installed. They had constant issues and seemed like the ac guy was out there constantly. Finally one suffered some type of big problem and they ended up swapping it out for...
