Makes sense, guess I just needed it spelled out for me. I don't work at a place my Matco dealer visits either, but I do usually meet up with him every week to buy or warranty something.

I'm not sure why you don't want to warranty tools with him? I don't think it costs the dealer any money to warranty tools. My Matco dealer has no problem with me bringing things to him for warranty that I didn't even buy from him.

I buy most of my tools used, and I have bought a few matco tools that had some chrome chipped or peeling, but my Matco dealer has always replaced them under warranty. Haven't had that problem with any newer Matco tools though...

Should be filled to 2250 psi, but that will change with air temp.

Just buy one that you can get replacement blades for locally. The blades on those things wear out fast, whichever brand you buy. (although I have never used the one t100 posted a link to).

How do you guys think the dual 80 ratchets compare to the matco 88's? I have never used a dual 80, but I really like the matco 88's I have.

I'd love to show everyone what's going on with it, but I haven't done much with it lately. Maybe I will make a thread when I start making more progress with it. Greg

Great idea, and I used it, and now I have a new account as gregsz-28! I switched the email address on the old account to the new email address, so my new account has the correct one. Thanks for the help guys, I'm glad I have the correct name now. I guess gregs-28 can be banned now.
