26x30 addition to replica "gas station"

Hey guys, I am still alive. I admit I am not the best at updating. I cancelled my art website due to lack of response and have had less time at computer to do updating. I have been doing tons of side job work the past couple years and starting a new side venture soon with another baby coming...

26x30 addition to replica "gas station"

Thanks for the compliments guys!! My wife and I were blessed to have a lil girl this February. So I have slowed way down on projects to spend time with her. I haven't had time to update this thread. I have many more pictures to get put on here. I have gotten work done though.

    Bringin' some barn lights back

Good info here. I'm getting ready to "rebuild" some for my garage like you did. They are from the Packard Plant in Detroit so I don't want to mess with them too much other than to function properly. I probably have 10 to hang up inside my garage and a couple for outside. Gonna run conduit like...

    Garage Art

Nice post!!! I have been on the hunt for vintage GULF signs for over a year now. The price on these have gone through the roof. Found some deals here and there but they are pretty beat up. If I can't find a double sided dealer sign, I'll just make one myself and paint it.

    Barn Lettering

I love seeing old barns that have been painted before. There is a local brick building that has handpainted lettering on it, still in great shape. When I had my duster I took some pics in front of it. I am planning on doing some hand painting on my garage, maybe this summer. When I travel to...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Mid-Century Moto Mecca Makeover

The whole design elements that are involved are amazing! Lots of thought and prep work are needed to pull of your results. I really am impressed with everything you have done so far. Subscribed!! Not sure how I missed this great thread. I love all the wood working.

It wasn't too expensive to do all the pavers. It was about $150 more than the concrete would've been to do the same area.

26x30 addition to replica "gas station"

After I got all the rock packed to the depth I needed, I got some sand loaded up on the trailer for final grade. It went better than I planned. I used three different colors of pavers to try and dress it up a little bit. I had a pattern made up and went with that. My friend Dan came over to...

26x30 addition to replica "gas station"

Yea, I will do a post when I rebuild the pumps. That'll be next spring. I have to gather some missing pieces first and get globes. I think when I get all done in the shop area, I will build some doors similar to mine for people that want one. It was a lot of fun and challenging.

26x30 addition to replica "gas station"

With a little muscle and help I finally got to see my vision of my dream "gas station garage" coming to life!!! I was so happy to get these boys installed, even though I'll be taking them apart next year to restore them to GULF brand. I bolted them down to the island because I was worried...
