2 post lift price questions/dealer references

Thanks it is a pretty solid 2nd gen. Yes the lift is manufactured in the US.

    rotary shockwave lift

Unless you have a high turn shop with a lot of daily lifts, I would not see the need for it. I went and saw some demo's and decided on the regular 2 post asymmetrical Rotary. Works awesome for me but I just use is as a shop lift, not as a professional.

2 post lift price questions/dealer references

I did a lot of research and talked to people in the business before selecting my lift. I wanted American made and a certified lift with a good track record. I went with a 12K Rotary Lift asymmetrical. I really like my lift!

    New Shop/Garage with House

Sorry, I meant model, not brand. I am not sure of the model. It is a heat pump so it has heat and ac. It works great. I keep it set on the lowest heat setting, 61 degrees and at times it is too warm with I am working. Not sure how the AC will work but I assume great. I have read nothing but...

Yes the mini split has been on since installed. It is a Gree 2 ton unit. I am unsure of the model.

    New Shop/Garage with House

Thanks jesse72. It has been a long time coming! We wanted the basement to be open except for 1/3 at the far end for the mechanical room, bath room and bedroom/den. We wanted room in the basement garage to park our daily drivers so I would have room in the shop from my build projects. We also...

    New Shop/Garage with House

Thanks. Well it is a Honda Civic. It is my daily driver at 40 mpg it is a far sight better than the 13 mpg the HD truck gets and the SS Camaro... we don't keep up with the MPG in that car.

    New Shop/Garage with House

Thanks! My wife designed this house starting on a piece of paper over a year ago. It is a 4 BR 3-1/2 bath on a full walkout basement. The fourth bedroom is actually a mother-in-law room with wheelchair accessible shower in the event our parents need to come stay with us. We tried to think...

    New Shop/Garage with House

The shop floor had to be engineered due to it requiring more than 2' of fill. It took 17 tandem loads of 3/4" wash stone compacted; ouch!

    New Shop/Garage with House

I wanted to start this build thread last year but waited until we finished the house and shop. We started by getting the house complete and focused on the shop. I always said if I build another shop it will have provisions for a two post lift and so we did. The shop is attached to our house...

    Radiant Heat or Not

Thanks for the info. I am decently going to put 2" of insulation board under the concrete. The insulation board cost more than the PEX and manifolds. I was surprised at the cost of foam board.
