    Well the core removal tool is from Mastercool and it's manufactured in the USA, so not quite some cheap Chinese knockoff. I thought the brand was well regarded, but in hindsight I should have spent the extra $20 and bought the Appion tool. Lesson learned... Appreciate all the comments so far...
