I can go 800sq ft with no issue. If I get a variance I can go 1200. According to the guy up the road the variance is not that easy to get. I would put a lift at the far end and that is where the muscle car will be parked most of the time.

I will be used as a second garage. Also planning on a lift down the road so 12-13' ceiling. Typical muscle car, trailer. Etc

Looking for opinions on the best size for an 800 sq ft. Building. The narrow end will be the entry side. 20x40 24x33 Etc.

My lot is 101' wide so the front will be the smaller dimension as well as the gable end. I don't want to take up 1/3 of the yard either. By the time I add the 6' overhang I'm pretty wide. I could do 28 wide with a 6' overhang but that would be the max I would want to go.

The cars will enter from the 24' gable end. The 12' door will be centered. I want a 12' for pulling trailers in and out easily. The overhang will be on the long wall and mostly for firewood and such.the garage will face north and the overhang will be on the east side. The weather usually comes...
