    Mac sbhfm62kpa

Looks identical to the new Capri double box wrenches, the 16x18 and 17x19 combos are just like the MAC’s and both are made in Taiwan. Best thing is the Capri Metric set is $109 and the SAE is $99 which both sets together is still less than the MAC metric set.

    Craftsman tool prices on Ebay

Yeah but not worth more than what you paid once you factor in that 400% inflation that the 70’s dollar is worth now. I’ve picked up lots of Marantz SS equipment and it’s okay if you pick it up cheap but not worth the eBay prices to my ears. I’d rather have that eBay money and buy new gear.

Because I’m on the Kansas border about 15 miles from Joplin, everyone knows where Joplin is after the F5 Tornado but nobody knows where Opolis Kansas is.

    Craftsman tool prices on Ebay

Old Craftsman might be rising in value because the newer stuff is made in China and Sears going under/losing Craftsman might have gained some interest too.

Lets make an all vintage Snap-on tool picture thread!

At a local Catholic thrift store I found an old box with some miscellaneous tools and hardware in the bottom of the box was an old red case with Mac drill bits and this one with a set of Snap-On 1952 marked bushing driver set, cost of the box? $2.50

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Here’s my trio of 1956 Snappy’s. I would love to keep and restore them but sadly they are too small and too much for me to sink into. I have on friend that does powdercoat work and another that does paintless dent repair but I’d just rather sell them than throwing good money after bad.

    New guy here

Hello all I’m Justin in Kansas. I used to be a diesel mechanic for 17 years but have quit that and have used my tools as a hobbyist now. I have a passion for all things Snap-On and any other quality tools out there. Looking forward to being a part of this group and learning.
