Hi all - thanks for all the replies. I started building the Christmas tree and will decide which way to got as far as the light timer. I am leaning toward Matt_i suggestion of the Click PLC + I would like to experiment with ladder logic. BTW - here are a few pics of my shop.

Hey - I starting my research into building a full size drag racing christmas tree for my workshop. I searching for how to build the timer circuit - Has anyone attempted this? Andy

All, Been on this site quite a bit the last few years. Started my workshop last year. Got the concrete done last Sept....will start up the construction on the structure in a few months (live in the Chicago area). The 12" of snow melted off a few days ago. Can't wait! 22'x45', 2x6 walls, 12'...
