    shrink sleeve -vs-black electric tape

Just as a reference in Australia for 240V applications we use a similar type of connector, instead of twist its has a screw. Called Blue Point Connectors. In all high voltage applications, its best to avoid as many breaks/joins as possible. Always use as much wire as necessary to do the job...

    Metric VS Standard fasteners

Most of the bolt sizes on my Mitsubishi are 6, 8 and 10, (and the few 12 and 14) good thinking from the ****...I can tell them apart from 3 feet away...oops I mean 1 meter away....lol

    Metric VS Standard fasteners

...and Australia ! :lol_hitti I don't know how this relates to the OP's question though... So is there any way you can tell if a fastener is metric or standard? or should I just figure its metric? I think he has committed suicide after reading everyone else's response

    Tool Box Substitute

These are Kincrome (one of the main brands sold in Australia). I've been shopping around for the proper computer drawer slides so that I can have everything pull out easily....the proper draw slides are rated at over 100kgs which will keep everything solid as a rock. I'll let you know how I go...

What are some handy non mechanics tools for the box?

condom! ....assuming some of you can think beyond the obvious. I.e stretch it over the intake/throttle body/carb./inlet, whatever, when working on a motor, helps stop dust and moisture from getting in.

    Down Under: Tools from Australia?

Yes I have them, I bought them new when they were all the rage...never use them...display purposes only...however they are great for doing pull up exercises when you hook them to an overhead tube/pipe/bar at a play ground....they grip very well, but not for precision use, and a bit fiddly to use...
