    Fluke Addiction Thread

I have a Brymen BM869S and it is awesome. Super easy to use (remembers all your settings), and a lot of functions (especially the dual display with AC+DC is nice. Crazy resolution (500k count). Fluke's are just too expensive here in Europe. I also have a fluke 115 which I had for ages (since...

CP 7732 vs King Tony M7

Big kick for an old thread but there's a very good review/test on youtube for these specific impacts: Basic outcome: The CP7732 and aircat 1055-TH are the most powerful (617ft/lbs reverse) but the M7 and astro 1822 are more compact but less powerful (480-490ft/lbs in reverse)

Which flare nut wrench set? (size combinations)

Yes I know for that typical part. But I ment more like in a common situation like this: (didn't want to post this pic to mess up the layout) Sure I can use a standard wrench in the middle (I can even use standard wrenches all thogether), but I suspect that those 2 sets I pointed out are...

Which flare nut wrench set? (size combinations)

Yes I understand your point but that is not what I meant. Take for instance this picture: The nut is a different size than the coupling piece. So you need 2 different sizes. If it was the same size you'd have to have all wrenches twice, always. But I don't know what the usual size...

Which flare nut wrench set? (size combinations)

I'm looking for a flare nut wrench set (open box spanners) but there seems to be 2 types of size combinations in wrenches. I'm looking for a metric set. So there are the combinations 8 x 10 mm, 9 x 11 mm, 12 x 13 mm, 14 x 15 mm 16 x 18 mm, 17 x 19 mm Like this set...

    Tools from the old world

I have some hex keys from beargrip (posted somewhere in this thread), but it's not a brand that is seen often. General toolstores have mainstream stuff like gedore/facom/hazet. I have seen sets (mostly hex keys and Tgrip hex keys) lying around in professional factories/workshops who tend to...

    Kraftwerk Tools from Switzerland

Already made your choice? I have this kraftwerk cart: http://www.rustbuster.nl/Quickshop/index.php?48,k3908-4993-kraftwerk-gereedschapskar-special With some extra modules Best thing about this set is the cabinet. The drawers are really good (I compared them with the cheaper hazet, gedore etc)...

    Tools from the old world

I've found a strong nice old british made "Swinborne" impact socket. Never heard of it, I think the manufacturer is gone..

    Tools from the old world

That cart looks really nice (a lot better than some other (cheap) carts I've seen from hazet). The foam inserts are also very nice. Doesn't look cheap either :( The laptop plateau is really cool!

    Tools from the old world

My thoughts exactly. I first thought: hmmm a PB screwdriver with Witte brand sign.... I really like the classic PB stuff; now there's a choice to make. I hope there will be some nice sets on the market.

    Tools from the old world

No, I don't think so. Maybe some specialist tools or things like compressors, but afaik no mainstream hand tools. There's very little production at all in Holland; mostly large/expensive one-off machine parts etc.

    Tools from the old world

yep, some old allen wrenches (funny enough in SAE:bounce:) Couldn't find any nooitgedagt, but there probably some chisels or saws around....and if not definately some antique ice skates:thumbup: still....The netherlands doesn't have a rich toolmanufacturing past like Germany or England...

    Tools from the old world

Some worn 1/2" allen socket from Gedore. Pretty old, I guess late '50's early '60's (my dad bought them back then). I still don't know if I should throw them away (I find things like these all the time under the dirt when I clean up the garage:)). Old, worn, replaced long time ago...
