Thanks! I know tell me about it...so much junk has been accumulating this past year-and-a-half, haha. Yes, I'm running 18x10 wheels front and rear with 265/35-18 tires. It provides a very balanced feel with tremendous grip from the Hankook RS-2 tires. ;) Next project is to clear off my work...

1.5 year update: Floor is still holding up well...it's seen a lot of mechanical work including a ****** replacement, rear diff replacement, and numerous dropped tools and object, LOL. Installed an overhead rack for additional storage, garage door insulation, newborn baby items, and new 18x10...

Wow, impressive Mr. Olsen...to say the least. I've always wanted to maximize the use of a 2-car garage and boy, I think you've taken it to the highest level yet! And your 911...DROOL!

Thanks for the heads-up! I actually might run softer compound 140 treadwear tires on my BMW so I'll see what happens. But so far, I haven't had issues with the epoxy lifting from the tires I'm currently running, even with the DOT race tires on the bike (of course, the bike is much lighter than...

The floor certainly gets some abuse, but has held up well in my opinion. I do take care trying not to drop tools, but the floor so far has been resilient in those cases where I've dropped various things (including tools). When I first started working in the garage, I used jack stands designed...

Bringing this thread back from the dead with some recent shots. The only addition was using more of the wall space for a length of Rubbermaid FastTrack in the first pic. Bike has fresh paint as well. :)

I haven't checked back on this thread in a while, just wanted to say this is one of my favorite garage builds. To OP, I'll reiterate, it's nice to see that floor getting some abuse (and holding up) with the work that gets done in your garage! :thumbup:

Did you need to adjust the spring tension of the garage door? Also, did the garage have exhaust gas ventilation ducts/holes, and if so, I presume the insulation still helped with the heat? Thanks! :thumbup:

Wow, I haven't really browsed the forum in a while...but Paul! Your garage makeover is AMAZING. Dunno if I missed your post...but was there a reason you decided to with VCT v. epoxy? (Not saying one is better than the other, but I was deciding between the two also, but went with epoxy.)...
