I am working on an 80 drill press right now as well. I am hoping to get it repainted over the weekend. I had to get some cracks in the base repaired so repainting was unavoidable. Still, your project is motivating me to get back out there and get this thing done.

My grandpa passed away last year and he has one of these still sitting on his work bench. I have been considering a refurb, but was a little concerned with finding info. I am no longer worried now that I found this thread.
