Good point. Also I was wondering whether the lift bay should be extra large? That is space to walk around the outside of the lift towers and locations for tool boxes? Haasman

Yes, the lift towers will need thicker concrete .... I went to several suppliers to get their specs. I was just looking at that (3 bays/36 width) and probably open the width a bit more, say 40'. Think an outside stair along one end to not intrude into the garage area. Thanks for you comments...
