Just in wal mart looking at tools...

You know, I get tired of cocky USA-made-whores, not saying that some of you are, but you act like only USA will do, and if you don't buy it, you're insufficient and you have no idea what you're doing. Just like the last fat stupid redneck I sold my lot of kobalt tools for. About $1200 dollars...

Just in wal mart looking at tools...

When did I say you should buy them? Or that I was better for using them. That's ridiculous. It's amazing how some people can misinterpret the simplest things. Actually, notice across the board, anyone who mentions anything not USA made, instantly, "oh, that's made in xxxxx, so it's ****" But...

    Big flex handle storage box

I really just need a wider tool box. Whenever I have that kind of money I always buy more tools instead of a tool box.

Paint gun I can leave full of paint?

I'd rather go for the 50 dollar paint job (acrylic enamel) than to use spray paint. It's more durable and looks better finished, no need to clearcoat, no overspray and no equipment required. http://rickwrench.com/index79master.htm?http://rickwrench.com/50dollarpaint.html

Paint gun I can leave full of paint?

Probably not. The paint that is exposed to the air will harden and stay hard. Plus it would be a ***** to clean and probably cause massive plugging. Spraypaint cans are different because there's little to no oxygen inside. They're pressurized with some type of propellant gas (usually anaerobic)...

Just in wal mart looking at tools...

In response to an older post (which has now been removed for some reason) as to not needing a 1/2'' deep socket set, I love them. I always opt for the 1/2'' drive wherever it will fit, even for small fasteners like 10mm. I only use the smaller ratchets when the 1/2'' drive won't fit. Usually...

cost of tools ...it adds up

So how much does tool insurance run these days, and do they cover a 100% loss at the paid price, or is a depreciated value cost?

Looking for a good pair of running shoes/work shoes

Jungle boots. I know it sounds funny, but they're actually made for exactly what you want them to do. They breathe well, they're padded and comfortable, and they're made to take a beating.

Just in wal mart looking at tools...

Sorry for making a thread that spiraled so far out of control. Wasn't my intent. I tend to pick taboo subjects, but it's totally inconsequential. Besides, it ends up being cool because I have something to keep my mind busy and talk to other people that like tools. But on the subject (that we've...

    Big flex handle storage box

Awesome idea. NEVER would've thought of that. So simple, too. I always overlook the obvious and simple things.

I was gonna get an F150 with the v8 triton engine, until I saw the price of the rebuild kits. Holy ****.

    Big flex handle storage box

I have a 40'' 3/4'' drive flex handle, won't even come close to fitting in my tool box, even at an angle. Don't have a blow molded case for it, so I'm looking for a plastic box that would hold it alone without much room to spare. Don't like my tools sitting out in the open air. Can't find...

Still less than the almost $250 for the other set. I can't believe Kobalt is asking as much as they are, either. I've never paid more than $40 for a 1/2'' deep set. That extra $20 is a lot to some people. Could be investing it somewhere else.

    Crowfoot vs flare nut crowfoot

Never thought of using one on an extension to get at something. Great idea though.
