Thanks for pointing me to that site, there is a wealth of knowledge in those forums. I think I might do that as my budget is not going to allow a replacement, and now I can justify buying a welding set up.

I got this new to me Delta 220 drill press this week. I posted it in the "show your old drill press" thread. I thought I would ask a larger audience about ideas on fixing the height adjustment rack for the table. I priced out a replacement rack and it is three times what I paid for the drill...

No plans to mess with the paint. It is covered in a nice patina of what seems to be a mix of decades of machine oil and Pall Mall smoke. Ill clean the grime where it needs it, replace what is worn out, and put it into service. I have included a picture of the badges for Hoorn.
