I have a 30x40 garage with a 26’ overhead door on the 30’ side. So 2’ on each side. Just make sure to tie your upper sheeting to the side walls and lvl’s and I used liquid nails on the sheeting and lvl’s. No issues.

I installed a 75000 btu hds heater a month ago. Went in the garage and turned the switch on and nothing happened. The thermostat said LO and changed the batteries and all was good.

I built a 30wx40dx12h garage last year and installed a 11'hx26'w overhead door on the gable end. The door has bridges with heavy duty hinges,tracks, etc. Garaga door. The header was two 1 3/4" x16" lvl beams with 2" styrofoam in between. Happy with everything so far.

I was looking at ordering some 4 lamp stingray t8 highbay fixtures 72 watts from prime lights. Looking to get 8 of them for my 30x40x12h shop.

My garage door is a Garaga G5000.

I am just in the process of installing an 11' h by 26' w overhead commercial garaga commercial door, it came to around $6200 will a manual chain operator. I'm in Northwestern Ontario.

Sounds like a similar problem I had in my previous house a few years back. Turned out to be a short in the wiring between house a garage.

Have a look at the cool air door(inside slider) you lose a bit of wall space but might be ok.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Charles, I have a PA-12.(36' wingspan). For the number of times it will go inside a year, my plan is just to put it dollies and roll it in/out sideways. The fuselage is just under 23' long.

Hello all, new to the forum. I plan on building a new garage in the near future, 30x40x12. I would like to put a 26x11door on it as I want to be able to put my plane in occasionally. I haven't seen too many doors this size for a garage and just wondering if anybody has come across big doors like...
