Epoxy experts question on a product

Hey Guys, I have a chance to use this epoxy but was told it was a 3 part which confuses me. It was ordered to repaint a transformer but never needed. It's usually sprayed on but I was planning on brushing it on my car trailer since it needs a repaint. I'm guessing it's ready for mixing but...

    Epoxy prep, floor prep questions!

Scuff it up and paint over it. Unless its flaking off then I wouldnt be worried about taking it down to bare concrete.

Cheapest Option? Flooring suppliers please chime in...

I've been searching around for a long time and still haven't pulled the trigger. I bought a touch up kit from them to test it out. I poured some on a curb outside at work and that stuff is hard as nails. Even in direct sunlight in Midwest weather it hasn't lifted or budged at all but it has...

breaker keeps tripping for overhead bedroom lights

A wire is touching somewhere. I had them same problem when I moved in. Turns out the wall switch for the celing fan was the problem. Ground wire was loose touching something. Cob web shouldnt trip the breaker. Gonna have to inspect connections, I would start with the fan since it has movement/...

    First time doing electrical work

What he said, I had to do about the same mud job you were doing in my garage after adding outlets. My stem wall goes up 3 feet so could only run wires horizontal. At least tape them up really well. Mud and dust gets in them and its a ******* to be careful around them.

    white resin or ceramic floor

Jack has Ceramic tiles. Also Ceramic tiles will hold up just fine as long as they are installed properly. Those look like 24" tiles in the pics.

Epoxy coat and legacy primer/urethane install

I would tend to agree with Legacy as well, nothing against EC as its a great product but Legacy is an installer of his products. I believe EC just sells theirs.

    Ceiling mounted heater help

I used to work for a plumbing/ heating & air supply house. Got my Modine for cost, it was in the low $400's if I remember right. Try one of those type places or there are a lot of places online you can buy. Remember to plan ahead see where your duct work will go as well as gas lines.

    Ceiling mounted heater help

I have a 75k HotDawg NG and it is a beast. I have 1200sq ft 4car with 12-15ft ceilings and I can make it as warm as I want no matter how cold outside. You will be good with a 45k unit.

Need ceiling fan options for 8ft ceiling height

But a cheap hugger celing fan and spray paint it with your color of choice maybe flat white, gray, black, ect to give it an industrial look. I havent seen an industrial hugger fan so youll have to go with an residential indoor one. There are some cool wall mount ones available as well.

    Flooring dilemma

I would use tile BUT In order to put tile down in a climate that gets snow you will have to put down traction enhanced tile which Im sure is $$$@!. Wet tile is slicker than snot. Durability wise its tough as nails though. Its stronger than expoxy, plastic tiles, ect. Grout shouldnt be an issue...

best bang for the buck floor epoxy

If you already have it or are set on using it then do it. I would however add a urethane topcoat/ anti skid to it at least, I would with any epoxy garage floor especially if your putting down flakes. Your urethane takes the beating not the epoxy, urethane topcoats are stronger than most all...

best bang for the buck floor epoxy

FYI the Rustoleum is 1.5 gallons not 2 like most think. Also I would want 2 coats of that stuff since its not 100% solids thus not making it any cheaper than Legacy, EC, ect.

Armorseal 1000 HS istall in progress

Looks pretty awesome to me, great job. As stated above by dcs, you can add a urethane top coat to get the shine back and add a protective layer that is tougher than epoxy. You can always do this later though, just clean, sand for texture then wipe with denatured alchohol. What did the project...
