attic trusses on a pole building?

Hi all, I'm looking at putting up a 36Wx60L poleshed with 14 ft walls. I would like to add an upstairs area using attic trusses. My location would likely require 16 on centers for snow load. I'm just curious if anyone has used attic trusses on a poleshed? Can't say I've ever seen it done in...

    Bodywork tool cart ideas

Since I brought this cart home from work, it's become a catch-all. I'm looking to make it into a bodywork tool cart (not paint, but only metal-work), and so I'm looking for pics of others, and various ideas. So far I've got plastic bins for holding 2" and 3" roloc discs, and blairs cutters.

anyone know about coleman black max air comp ?

Sounds about right. I have a Coleman Black Max 6.5hp 2 stage 80 gallon. My question is: does anybody know the rating at 90psi? Should be above 10, right?

    wood floor?

36x63 (if 9 on center) for the building. I've used LP/OSB board before like that, and it has worked for me in the past. I could do a partial pour, I guess, but that's still quite a bit more expensive than wood. The wood eventually would get reused as either form boards for the pour, or an...

    wood floor?

Good points, thanks. I was thinking green treated planks, about 2x12's, layered crisscrossed 2 or 3 times on 4x4 green treated framework. I'm sure they will move though. Maybe I should "all-terrain-ize" my engine hoist instead. Ground is good'ol MN clay. I'll be laying a gravel base on top...

    wood floor?

Hi all, I'm looking at putting up a pole shed in the next year, and am considering a wood floor in a 16x20 section of it for a truck project. I want it removable for when I can afford to have the concrete poured. This a crazy idea? Any suggestions to making it work, I'm all ears. Thanks...

    MP&C Shop Projects

Great work as always! In the recent pics, I see a table with two vises? Is there more to this table? I'm in the process of making a set-up table myself, and am looking for tips and tricks. Thanks.

stick built vs. pole building for a full time shop?

personal shop. Full time, as in it'll be heated to 70 all the time, for painting. I mentioned the metal interior wall coverings, as that's what my workplace has, with the big rolls of foil-faced insulation sandwiched in between.

stick built vs. pole building for a full time shop?

in-floor is a must! My house is built that way, and it's great. My plan was to get the shell "dried in". I'd do the finishing, electrical, plumbing, etc..., my house is 2x6 stick built 36x44 10 foot walls, and that was turn-key under $75,000, 5 years ago. What I'm curious about, is the...
