    Damn it!

If a seller has multiple listings for the same item but with a different end date/time. You bid early on the first listing that has no bids to "mark" it.:monkey_pi Hopefully anyone else that comes along will bid on one of the earlier listings, or a later listing with no bids. That's how I got my...

How much to rent a Floor grinder? Is it available in Canada?

In 2004 it cost me $75 to rent the grinder over the weekend, and $125 to use the carbide cutters. The standard rate on the grinder was $45 for 6hrs. It took me ~16hrs to do 1080sqft with the carbide cutters. The stones cut slower and wear faster. Either way makes lots of nasty dust. It's worth...

    Craftsman 19x21 flare nut

Don't sweat it... It it spreads you'll be able to trade up to a pro version. I've done that with a wrench that was only out of stock, not discontinued like yours.

    Earthquake !

I felt the quake down in southwest ohio. It only lasted about 10-15 seconds. I though my wife was crawling on the bed to mess with the alarm clock, but the water was running so I knew she was in the shower. Hmm, so I rolled over and went back to sleep. When I got to work they asked me if I felt...

my first tool box: what was I thinking

Ditto... I got mine at 16 for vocational school. I'm glad I didn't stick with HVAC though. I think my brother has some misc junk stored in my old box. The bottom was getting pretty rusty from sitting on the garage floor.

    Wrench Organization: Opinions?

I just found some SK ones after I posted. Unfortunately, they are the soft rubbery kind with the retaining clip thingy. I like the hard plastic trays with no retaining clip. http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/tool-storage-wrench-racks-10-slot-short.html

When an normal impact wrench just isn't enough.....

They're probably using those over in china to put together the olympic facilities. It's nice to have the adjustable torque setting, so they can dial it down until the bolts stop breaking. :lol_hitti
