Is anyone impressed with the CP 714?

I've heard great things about each, but I haven't been able to find a comparison between the two directly. Does anyone have any experience with the two to help decide? I get the impression that the snap on lacks control but has a good amount of power. I gather the CP714 is more controlable, but...
